According to numbers collected by the CBS in Holland, the export of goods is expected to increase to an all time high in Holland. The volume in March this year was 10.4% more than in March last year. This growth was the biggest since June 2017. Import of goods in Holland this March was 10.9% more than last year March.
The most exported goods were machinery, transport equipment and agricultural products.
In May, according to the CBS, the conditions for the export of goods from Holland are looking even better than in March. That would mean that the export is even now growing and will reach a new high in May. These results are, according to the CBS, because of a steady rise in producer confidence in the euro-zone and Germany, and because in Germany the decline of the production industry is turned around to a growing industry.
